HNMCS Choir
An appreciation of music inspires and fosters the expression of the creative spirit within the individual. At Holy Name of Mary College School, vocal music is a key focus and our vocal music programs allow each student to develop lifelong skills. Our award-winning choir programme welcomes new students from grades 5-8 in the junior choir and in grades 9-12 in the senior choir. The choir is a key component of life at HNMCS and performs regularly both inside and outside the school. Both the junior and senior choir also compete regionally and were both placed 1st, in their individual categories, at the Peel Music Festival 2011. Our senior choir went on to represent the region at the Ontario Music Festival where they placed third. All students are welcome to engage in the choir and participate in this wonderful reflection of our community.
