Library and Research

The Holy Name of Mary College School Library is a place of learning and research where students are encouraged to explore the written word in all its many forms: books, journals, and the World Wide Web. The library collection has been selected strategically to support the curriculum and to foster the reading interests of Holy Name of Mary College School students.

The Holy Name of Mary College School Library is comprised of both print and web-based resources, thus making it a library that is always accessible.  The databases, directories and documentation tools listed below can be accessed by HNMCS students from school and home. All they need is the appropriate log in and password information

Documentation

A vital skill for student researchers is the ability to produce a work cited list often times referred to as a bibliography. Holy Name of Mary College School subscribes to Noodletools, which allows students to create Work Cited lists or References lists according to MLA or APA formats.
