Encouraging girls to enter Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields is a hot topic in government, academic and business. It’s long been a priority at HNMCS and this year that priority was taken up by students themselves. On December 1, the Senior School Robotics Team hosted HNMCS’ First STEM day.

The importance of STEM Day goes well beyond building excitement about a career in a STEM field. The power of having senior students share their passion with younger students is empowering and motivating.
