Matthew Snowdon joins the team as the Associate Director of Mission Integration. He is passionate about forming communities rooted in the invitation, wonder, and joy of faith-filled living. For the last three years, Matthew served as the chaplain at a Catholic high school in Belleville, ON, where he focused primarily on accompanying students and staff toward deeper relationships with one another, themselves, and the Divine. By drawing on the riches found in the universal Catholic tradition, Matthew strives to create cultures marked by a robust spiritual life that affirms a life-giving vision of Christianity, open to all. After receiving a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with an additional focus on Christianity and Culture from the University of Toronto, Matthew went on to study at the premier Catholic institution of Boston College, obtaining a Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry there. When not pondering life's big questions, Matthew can be found figure skating, hiking, skiing, and his favourite, spending quality time with family and friends over good food and drinks. Matthew is excited to be returning home to the GTA and being a part of the HNMCS community.
