Class of 2025
On June 16th, we gathered as a community to celebrate the Class of 2025, and the culmination of this phase of their academic career. The Graduation ceremony, that took place at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, was packed with family & friends who all showed up to mark this special occasion. The Class of 2025 received over $550,000 in scholarship offers and will be pursuing post-secondary studies, at respected universities in Canada and the United States, in the Arts & Humanities, Business, Engineering and Science programmes.

At the Graduation Ceremony, our Valedictorian, Maya Slowikowski, recalled her own journey at HNMCS and expressed gratitude and appreciation for all members of the HNMCS community. She spoke fondly about her classmates and the quirks that made them so special.
We didn’t just grow in knowledge; we grew in character. We learned how to listen. How to lead. How to fail and get back up. How to speak even when our voices shook. We learned that sometimes the best lessons didn’t come from textbooks, but from each other.
During the presentation of diplomas, 100% of the graduates were Ontario Scholars (having attained an average of 80% or higher) and 70% of the students received the Marian Award, recognizing their consistent honour roll standing throughout their Senior School years at HNMCS. After the conferring of diplomas, we recognized the many unique contributions of the Class of 2025 with the distribution of special awards. These included:
- Felician Sisters Justice & Peace Award: Seana Martin
- Basilian Fathers Catholic Student Award: Majella Martin
- Award of Academic Excellence: Manuela Attardo
- Graduate Student Award of Merit Award: Julia Maganja
- The Inspiring Leadership Award: Ersinam (Belle) Mamattah
