After a series of tournaments for the 2018/19 season, two senior school teams and two middle school teams made it to the provincial level and competed in the Destination Imagination (DI) provincial competition. DI is a global educational nonprofit on a mission to inspire the next generation of innovators, leaders and creative problem solvers. Teams take part in challenges in STEAM education: Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Engineering, Service Learning and Early Learning.

We had a middle school and a senior school team in each of the Scientific and Fine Arts categories. Our senior school team, Serendippin’ Dots, placed second in the Fine Arts competition and the DIologies placed first in the Scientific challenge. Our middle school teams, up against eight teams each, did very well. The Game Changers placed fourth in the Fine Arts challenge and the Wild Card Medics placed third in the Scientific challenge.

All teams qualified to attend the Global Finals in Kansas City. We are all so proud of you!
