HNMCS’ Elite Athletes

What does it take to be a top athlete? Dedication, an incredible work ethic, confidence and drive. Just ask Bridgette D’Ercole ’21 and Hanna Henderson ’20.

Bridgette is a women’s artistic gymnast who has been competing since she was eight years old. She is in our Elite Athlete Programme and trains and competes in four events: vault, floor, uneven bars and balance beam.

This April, for the third consecutive year, she was among Ontario’s top 32 female gymnasts to compete in provincial championships and she had an excellent result, finishing 8th on the floor and 11th on the vault.

Congratulations Bridgette!

Hanna Henderson is an elite swimmer, training most mornings and evenings. From October to August, she competes in at least two swim meets per month. This January, she competed in Austin, Texas as part of Team Ontario. This April, she was selected for the Junior National Team and is preparing to represent Canada in Fiji this August.
