Empowering Women Leaders

The StargazerNews

The 2021-2022 Student Government Elections took place in early April. This year's virtual elections showcased the remarkable talent, enthusiasm and outstanding school commitment of 50+ HNMCS students, who rose to the challenge with confidence and poise. We are so excited about all of the opportunities that the 2021-22 school year has to bring and plans are already underway to make the next school year a memorable one for all.

New to the HNMCS Council this year is a communications portfolio, which replaced the former Lead Ambassador. You can look for new content from Student Government and Student Life on some different social media platforms in the upcoming school year.

Along with this, the newly formed Middle School Council will work with Senior School Student Government member mentors to continue to build a robust student life experience for MS students, while empowering these young female leads to take on different leadership roles prior to entering high school.

Throughout the month of May, the Middle School council will be working with peers from around the globe in the leadership training program, Empowering Girls Voices, hosted by the NCGS and Close Up. The Executive Student Government Council will be taking part in a two day training and plenary session in mid May.
