Learning beyond the classroom
Holy Name of Mary College School (HNMCS) understands the importance of reinforcing teaching with complementary activities and programs and is committed to offering students experiences that support and enhance the academic curriculum. This fall, students in both the Middle School and Senior School had the opportunity to get involved in more than 20 clubs and 7 teams, including two new entries on our roster of activities: the HNMCS Band and our first female HNMCS robotics team. The winter session of co-curriculars is now in effect with several student-led initiatives, such as Film Club and Needle Crafts. Be sure to take a look at what’s on offer and get involved!
At HNMCS, creativity spawns innovation. The co-curricular programme fosters new skills and introduces new learning. The opportunities for students to expand their horizons are plenty, and so too the options upon graduation as evidenced by alum Diana Paolone ‘12 and Aniela Opolski ‘14, who were recently featured in this article in the National Post.
