As part of the Outdoor Education program at HNMCS, the Grades 5 and 6 students headed to Caledon, Ontario and Teen Ranch, a not-for-profit Christian sports camp and retreat. Students participated in a wide variety of outdoor activities that challenged them to take healthy risks in a supportive environment. The excursion took place from May 18 - 19 and saw the girls riding horses, learning Map orienteering skills, creating medallions and enjoying the evening campfire.
As a group, they also spent time engaging in outdoor games, using the trampolines, hiking and exploring the area, and taking part in a series of team-building activities.
