The Terry Fox run looked very different this year, but despite the circumstances it was still a successful and extremely fun event. While we weren’t able to participate in a school-wide run, we were still able to honour a Canadian icon virtually!

Using the app Runkeeper, HNMCS students logged a number of walks and runs throughout the week. As a school, we travelled well over 400 miles! Carolynn Lima ‘27 led the way in Middle School while Clarisse Carcao ‘24 led the way in Senior School, as they both reached over 30 miles! We also have to mention the teachers, who travelled over 60 miles combined.

A special thank you to our Athletics Head Grace Montemurro ‘21 who put together a great plan and demonstrated patience, flexibility, and grace in doing so.
