The Grade 5’s and 6’s Take on Teen Ranch!

The StargazerNews

The grade fives and sixes had a wonderful time on the annual trip to Teen Ranch. It was a busy 3-day excursion including many outdoor activities in the beautiful Caledon area. They participated in a wide variety of activities, facilitated by the fantastic staff at Teen Ranch, including archery, horseback riding, shelter building, hiking and much more!

The focus of the overnight experience is to allow the students an opportunity to bond with their peers. The grade fives and sixes also worked on strengthening their communication and teamwork skills in various collaborative forest activities.

The HNMCS students were also accompanied by their wonderful Grade 10 student camp leads. These students were able to relive their fond experiences at Teen Ranch by leading the younger students on the trip. Many experiences of roasting marshmallows by the fire, leading camp games, and passing on the talent show tradition are just to name a few. We are thankful for the fun memories from Teen Ranch that will be remembered for years to come!
