In a display of sheer dominance and unwavering determination, the varsity volleyball team has emerged victorious, claiming the 2024 CISAA championship title and securing a coveted gold medal. Their journey to triumph was marked by an undefeated season, a testament to their exceptional skill, teamwork, and resilience.

From the outset, it was clear that this team was something special. They displayed a level of cohesion and chemistry that is often the hallmark of championship teams. Each player understood her role and executed it with precision, whether it was the powerful spikes of the outside hitters, the precise sets of our setter or the impenetrable defence in the middle. They consistently outmatched their opponents, leaving spectators in awe of their prowess and agility.

On February 28th the team travelled to the Pakmen courts where they continued to play their exceptional game. With high pressure to secure a championship win, the team stayed focused from start to finish. Winning three straight sets in the championship game against the Toronto Montessori School and taking home the gold!

In addition to their remarkable skill on the court, what truly set our stars apart was their unwavering bond and camaraderie. United by a shared goal and fueled by the support of their coaches, (Ms. Apuzzo, Ms. Leon and Coach Garth) these young athletes epitomized the true spirit of teamwork, lifting each other up and celebrating every success as a collective triumph.
